Horizon Scanning: 2020 Kicking Off in Style
Whilst its always important to look back and reflect on what we’ve achieved to this point, it’s equally vital for us to look ahead and see what lays ahead for us Radiators. We’ll be looking at some recent projects are store for Radiator, at home and further afield including some new client wins and some office developments in store.
Our New Office in the Capital
One very exciting piece of news to share is we have recently signed the lease for an office space in London. We’ll be situated at Hackney Depot, on Sheep Lane, and we’ll be looking forward to the opportunity of speaking to some exciting brands in and around the City in the very near future. We’ll share some pics when we’ve settled in, but for now you can check out the space below:
Starting off 2020 With a Bang!
We ended 2019 on a positive note with some fantastic new projects wins, some we can’t talk about right now but keep an eye out for more updates soon! The ones we can share are listed below for you to read about 😊.

Aspro Parks
Aspro Parks are one of the largest operators of leisure parks and centres in Europe and were founded in 1991. Aspro Parks have 68 parks across 10 countries including UK, Spain, France and Germany.
Radiator were approached at the tail end of the year with the challenge of upgrading 8 websites based in the UK and help them improve the online customer experience to help drive ticket sales to their aquariums and parks with a view to having easy to manage solutions for creating content moving forward. We’ll be kicking off with the Blue Planet Aquariums site initially and redeveloping 7 others including Deep Sea World, Bristol Aquarium and the Blue Reef Aquarium in Hastings.

ZUZU
From the team behind the highly successful BOHO Management Ltd, ZUZU is a brand-new UK-based consultancy and property management company. They offer an exciting, flexible approach to property portfolios, and can help with anything from planning support and design consultancy to a fully comprehensive property management service.
After our successful collaboration on all things BOHO, we were approached to create a sleek new brand for ZUZU, built around individuality and creativity.
In addition to branding, we’ll be providing ZUZU with a fresh new landing page, designed to generate and register interest in their growing list of bespoke services. With a fully content-managed blog section, you can follow the latest updates from this exciting new venture. Built with innovation in mind, we are giving ZUZU all the tools they'll need to stay ahead of the curve.

North East Scotland Pension Fund
Part of the Local Government Pension Scheme [LGPS], The North East Pension Fund [NESPF] is one of the largest funds in Scotland, with over 68,000 members. The fund provides a pension for several organisations including the councils of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray amongst 50 other public and charitable bodies in the North East of Scotland.
We have been tasked at delivering a digital strategy with an easy to navigate, innovative website that meets the needs of all users with a mobile-first approach. We’ll look to build a robust site with the capabilities to expand through relevant and topical content to drive the encouragement of new and returning visitors.
New People!
As well as new projects, we have a new starter in Cameron! Cameron joins us after graduating from Dundee University and will be joining the design team to work across all the new solutions we have coming in.
A big Hearts fan [let’s not judge], Cameron graduated from Dundee having won the accolade of the Microsoft award for most inclusive design by developing a communication aid to help people with autism which focussed on user-centered design – he has already got his feet under the table with some exciting new projects – so watch this space.

NODS Partnership
Fresh from our win at the Nods in 2019, Radiator will be a sponsor for the 2020 awards. For those unaware, the Nods are a not-for-profit whose sole aim is to promote creativity within Scotland. The awards will be taking place on the 7th of May at BaAD in Glasgow. Radiator have placed a few entries including Agency of the Year, Best Social Good campaign as well as Best Digital Design. Fingers crossed we are shortlisted – it will be a top night!
Radiator Helping Business Beats Cancer
In addition to the Nods campaign, Radiator will be continuing our support at the Business Beats Cancer Glasgow event. Such a great cause, the aim of the event is to raise funds for Cancer Research UK – which to date has raised £275,000 which goes straight towards research to help beat cancer in the UK. The dinner will take place in February and its one we’re very much looking forward to.
We look forward to updating you on some of the projects we are working on now and will be able to share some further news of new projects in the upcoming months.
